Arnold Bentley Fund
The Arnold Bentley Award exists to support new, interdisciplinary initiatives concerned with the advancement or promotion of research in the psychology of music or music education. Awards will be up to £3,000.

© Sempre Aubrey Hickman Award
The Aubrey Hickman Award is intended to promote original research from new investigators in the field. The award is £1,000 biennially, linked to one of our main Sempre conferences.

© Sempre Fabia Franco Award
The Fabia Franco Award is a new Sempre award from 2025 of up to £3000 related to any aspect of musical behaviour and development in infancy and early childhood.

Gerry Farrell Award
The Gerry Farrell Scholarships are intended to support travel in pursuit of identified research objectives in the UK or abroad through the payment of, or a contribution towards, the costs of travel and subsistence. Awards will be up to £4,000.

Reg and Molly Buck Award
The Reg and Molly Buck Award is intended to support a post-doctoral research project by someone who has been awarded their doctorate up to five years previously. A limited number of awards will be offered of up to £3,000 per award.
