Title: Online music course offerings in Australia: A historical study

The SEMPRE project, Online music course offerings in Australia: A historical study, has identified the current universities offering online music classes at the Bachelor of Music level and the type of classes being offered. Further, using data gathered from university websites, where available, it provided a timeline overview of the context for the offerings across 4 years. The focus of the first round of data analyses was on offerings for the undergraduate music student (i.e., music major). The initial findings indicated that, of the seven universities offering online music subjects, the majority of universities (i.e., 5 out of 7 universities) offered more music elective classes as opposed to core classes in their online offerings.
