Title: Sempre’s Support for the 7th International Conference on Dalcroze Studies in Belval, Luxembourg, 28–31 August

The 7th edition of the International Conference on Dalcroze Studies was hosted by the University of Luxembourg. It took place from 28 to 31st August, in Belval (Luxembourg). The theme of the conference was “Building bridges through music and movement: Inspire, Imagine, Transcend”. Different thematic tracks were chosen to stimulate diversity and connection to other disciplines.

ICDS7 welcomed 260 participants (232 in person) who had a wonderful conference experience, attending the keynotes (3), “getting started with research” seminars (6), warm-ups (3), research paper (21) and practice paper (24) presentations, workshops (23), paper and workshops (7), roundtables (7), posters (17), and performances (27).

Thanks to SEMPRE, we could support many students to come to Luxembourg and participate to the fullest in the conference. This helps ICDS to significantly expand the Dalcroze community and build ICDS’s future.
