The Call for Papers is now open for the joint 19th International Conference on Music Perception and Cognition (ICMPC) and 13th triennial Conference of the European Society for the Cognitive Sciences of Music (ESCOM), taking place 16–20 August 2027 in Helsinki, Finland, and online.

Hosted by the Centre of Excellence in Music, Mind, Body and Brain (MMBB) under the theme “Music, mind, body and brain”, the conference welcomes contributions that address music as a dynamic human experience in today’s world.

Submissions are invited for oral and poster presentations, symposia, and workshops/demonstrations.

Abstract submission deadline: 31 October 2026, 23:59 EET.

The conference will also offer several awards, including the ICMPC Young Researcher Award, established jointly by ICMPC and SEMPRE, SEMPRE Conference Awards, ESCOM Irène Deliège Award, and MMBB Travel Awards.
