It is with great pleasure that the SEMPRE Trustees welcome Dr Alexis Kallio, currently Deputy Director (Research) at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University to the newly created post of Co-Editor of our journal Research Studies in Music Education, published by Sage. Alexis joins our established editor, Dr Julie Ballantyne, of the University of Queensland School of Music, to create a new editorial leadership team. We wish them every success in the continued development of one of the world's leading music education journals.
